Dr. Ron Waln's doctoral research focused on selection of law enforcement officers. Working with the late Dr. John Allen of Psychological Sciences Corporation, Dr. Waln consulted for more than 20 years on police psychology issues, including testing, job analysis, performance management, training, and research. In 2005, when Dr. Allen knew he would have to retire from active practice because of ill health, he asked Dr. Waln to continue serving his law enforcement clients.
