Ronald Waln, Ph.D.

Dr. Ron Waln has been helping his clients hire the right people since 1982.  As an expert in individual assessment and employee selection, Ron serves organizations of all sizes and types, providing them access to the most advanced selection and development methods.

Ron is a licensed Industrial and Organizational (I-O) Psychologist and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). He also offers expertise in other I-O areas including job analysis, performance management, leadership development, and personnel research.

Prior to beginning his consulting career, Ron gained business experience in general management, sales management, and outside sales.  He  has held research positions at The Menninger Foundation and Psychological Sciences Corporation, and he has taught graduate courses in Industrial Psychology and Human Resource Management.

Ron frequently speaks to business groups, and he  is published in technical and business journals including Professional Psychology and the Journal of Business and Psychology.

He is an active member of professional and business organizations, including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology , the American Psychological Association, and the Society for Police and Criminal Psychology. Ron is also a past Chairman of the Wichita Independent Business Association, a past Chapter President of the Society for Human Resource Management, and a member of the Rotary Club of Wichita.
